This Privacy Policy describes how Fitness Booking, Inc. ("Company," "we," "us," "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use FitBook (the "Service" or "Platform").

Privacy is a big deal to us. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we handle it. The short version: we collect only what we need, we never sell your data, and we work hard to keep it safe.

What We Collect and Why

Our guiding principle is to collect only what we need to make the Platform work for you. Here's what that looks like:

Identity and Access

When you sign up, we ask for your name and email address. We use this to personalize your account, send you booking confirmations, and contact you if something needs your attention. That's it.

Billing Information

If you upgrade to a paid plan, we collect your payment card details. Your card information goes directly to Stripe, our payment processor. We never see or store your full card number. We keep records of your billing history for accounting and to help if you have questions about charges.

Booking Information

When you book classes through FitBook, we collect and store information about your bookings to provide and improve our service.

We collect booking information to facilitate your reservations and help you manage your fitness schedule.

  • • Class bookings and cancellation history
  • • Studio preferences and favorites
  • • Scheduling preferences and patterns
  • • Communication preferences for booking notifications

Studio Interactions

When you book classes at studios through our Platform, we share necessary information with those studios to complete your reservation. This includes your name, contact information, and booking details.

Website Analytics

We collect general information about how you use our website: pages visited, buttons clicked, that sort of thing. We use this to improve the Service and fix problems. We do not track you across other websites.

Information Shared with Studios

When you book a class through FitBook, we share certain information with the studio to complete your reservation:

  • • Your name and contact information for check-in purposes
  • • Booking details including class, date, and time
  • • Any special requirements or notes you provide

Each studio has their own privacy practices. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of studios you book with. FitBook is not responsible for the privacy practices of partner studios.

What We Don't Do With Your Data

We never sell your personal information.

Not to advertisers, not to data brokers, not to anyone. Your data isn't our product—the Service is. We do not mine your data for advertising purposes. We do not build profiles about you to sell. We do not share your information with third parties for their marketing.

When We Access or Share Your Information

The Company keeps your data to ourselves with a few exceptions:

  • To complete bookings: We share necessary information with studios to facilitate your class reservations.
  • To process payments: Your billing info goes to Stripe. They are trustworthy and have their own strict privacy practices.
  • If required by law: If we receive a valid legal request, we may have to share information. We will push back on requests that are too broad or unclear.
  • To protect rights and safety: If we believe someone is using the Service to harm others or violate our terms, we may investigate and take action.

No Company employee looks at your data unless you specifically ask us to help with something, or we need to investigate a problem you have reported.

How We Secure Your Data

Security is not just a checkbox for the Company. Here's what we do:

When You Delete Your Account

You can delete your account at any time from your account settings. When you do:

  • We delete your personal data within 30 days
  • Your booking history is anonymized or deleted
  • Some information may persist in backups for up to 90 days
  • We may retain anonymized, aggregated data that cannot identify you

You have control over your data. You can:

Take your booking history and preferences with you if you leave.

If you are in the EU, you have additional rights under GDPR. If you are in California, you have rights under CCPA. We respect these regardless of where you live.

Cookies

We use cookies to keep you logged in and remember your preferences. We also use analytics cookies to understand how people use the Service so we can make it better. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser, but some features may not work properly.

Changes to This Policy

The Company may update this policy as our practices evolve. If we make significant changes, we will notify you by email or through the Service before they take effect. For minor clarifications, we will just update the page.
